PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES. BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY OF THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.
To use the Services you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
These Terms are an agreement between you and PiTarot ("we", "us", or "our") for use of the PiTarot website and free AI tarot reading services (the "Services").
1. The Services
PiTarot provides free online AI-assisted tarot readings, card meaning references, and related content for entertainment and personal reflection.
Tarot readings and AI-generated text are not professional, medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on any reading.
2. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping it secure and for activity under the account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for illegal purposes;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape at abusive scale, or compromise security;
- harass others or submit content that violates applicable law;
- misuse free-tier limits, automation, or shared accounts to evade rate limits.
We may refuse, rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access when we believe these Terms are violated.
4. Your content
You retain rights to the questions and other text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content only to operate the Services (for example generating a reading and storing history for signed-in users).
AI-generated interpretations are produced for your use of the Services and may be stored when you are signed in so you can review reading history.
5. Free service
The core tarot reading experience is offered free of charge, subject to fair-use and daily limits we may set. We may change limits or features over time.
6. Intellectual property
The website, branding, software, and original content of PiTarot remain our property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you.
7. Feedback
If you send feedback or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to improve the Services without compensation.
8. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT READINGS WILL BE ACCURATE, USEFUL, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the Services at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end access to the Services at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in California have exclusive jurisdiction, except where arbitration or consumer protections require otherwise.
